Riley Koellner - #3

2025 Libero

My name is Riley Koellner, class of 2025. I am currently a Senior at Airport High School. I’m playing for Lake Murray Volleyball Club 18’s Elite team, with Coach Sean Dillon, during the 2024-2025 season. I am a Libero/DS for both my club and school team.

I started playing volleyball in the 7th grade when I really wanted to try something new. I made the Fulmer Volleyball team as a DS and played through middle school. My Freshman year I was the Libero for my Airport High School JV team and was brought up to Varsity as Libero for playoffs that same year. My Sophomore, Junior, and Senior years, I was Libero on the Varsity team. In my career of volleyball, I have earned ‘Best All Around’ my Freshman year, ‘Best Defensive’ my Sophomore, Junior, and Senior year, ‘Midlands Player of The Week’ my Junior year, and ‘All-Region 4-AAAA Player’ my Junior and Senior year. As an addition to lettering in volleyball, I have also earned a letter for Airport Softball.

Volleyball is one of my biggest passions in life. I knew I loved it the moment I first stepped on the court! My goal is to play volleyball in college and to major in Nursing with obtaining my CNA when I graduate. I look forward to what my future holds!

Autumn Salomon

2025 Libero

My name is Autumn Salomon. I am a senior at White Knoll High School. I will be graduating with the class of 2025. I am a libero/DS on the LMCV 18 Elite team for the 2024-2025 club season. This will be my second year at Lake Murray and my 6th playing club.

I've been playing volleyball since my seventh-grade year. I've played every position but I specialize as a defensive player. In my freshman year, I played as a DS on JV and won the Most Improved Player award. In my sophomore year, I moved up to varsity still playing as a DS and I won the Defensive MVP award and also made 1st team All-Region. In my Junior year, I played as a libero and won the Defensive MVP award again.

My academics are just as important to me as volleyball. I have a 4.0+ GPA. I am planning to move into the medical field and major in sports medicine and hopefully become an athletic trainer. I will be the first in my family to go to college and playing volleyball at the collegiate level is a huge goal of mine. I see myself as a dedicated and coachable player and I'm grateful for this opportunity!

My name is Daila Brown, I'm class of 2026. I am a junior at Irmo High School and I play as a middle hitter. I'm planning on going to an HBCU and I'm planning on majoring in nursing and becoming a Forensic Nurse. I maintain a 4.5 GPA with honors. I participate in my high school's athletic trainers program, The National Honors Society, as well as volleyball at my school.

I have been involved in sports for my whole life but have only been playing volleyball for about 4 years. I started playing volleyball in my 8th grade year and made JV. I was very excited but very new to the whole thing. I was used to running track and only competing by myself and not with a team, but I then fell in love with volleyball and the rest is history. After my school season was over I wanted to keep playing volleyball so I could get more practice in and make it on the varsity team once I got to high school. I then played for the 14 National team at Lake Murray and instantly fell in love with the sport. I wanted to learn all about the game. The following year I got on the varsity team and became a starter which was new to me because I usually only played on the front row but I was still grateful that I got the chance to be on the court at all times.

I don’t know how to fully describe why I love this game so much, but I know for sure that I love this game because of the competition in every game and tournament. The excitement and adrenaline rush that happens when you step onto the court is out of this world. I always put my all into every block, hit and pass, no matter what. Another reason why I love volleyball is that volleyball is a place where I can express myself by showing all my emotions from being upset about a play or jumping up and down from making a good play. I believe I am fully capable of playing at the next level.

My name is Haylee Falco and I attend Gray Collegiate Academy. I am a junior and will be graduating with the class of 2026. I am a setter playing up on the LMVC 18 Elite team for the 2024-2025 club season. This is my first year at Lake Murray and my 5th year playing club.

I have played sports my whole life and was an all star gymnast but fell in love with volleyball in the 6th grade. I started out with playing recreational volleyball but my 7th grade year, I decided that I wanted to try out for my middle school volleyball team. When I made my middle school team, I knew that I wanted to be more serious with volleyball. I decided to tryout for club and made the highest club team for my age group. Originally, I started out as an all 6 rotation outside for the beginning of my school and club years. Later, I switched my position to only a DS so I could eventually further my volleyball career into college. When I switched schools to Gray Collegiate Academy my 9th grade year, my coach needed me as a setter on my JV team. As soon as I became a setter, I knew it was the position I wanted to stay in. I love to lead my team and call the shots that I know need to be called. The following year, I was the starting setter on varsity as a sophomore. In my overall years as a player, I have won the MVP award 3 times and won a hustle award. I have fell in love with my position as a setter and the sport overall.

As a student-athlete, my academics mean just as much as volleyball to me. Currently I have a 4.89 GPA and am top 30% in my 2026 class. I plan to attend college and major in Business Finance to become a Financial Advisor. I have learned to handle both my academics and sports at the same time, even though at times it is stressful. I have many goals I want to accomplish and I would love to accomplish one by being able to play in college!

Kara Alwood - #1

2027 DS/LIB

My goal is to attend a highly competitive academic program with the opportunity to play on an equally competitive collegiate volleyball team. I work hard, study hard and play hard in efforts to make this possible. I am described by others as "positive, coachable, supportive and happy." Coaches have called me "level-headed, a leader and a positive role model." I have a quiet confidence, but can often be the loudest on the floor. I work well with everyone on and off the court. I've seen how having a positive attitude and respect from each player strengthens even the most athletic team's performance. I enjoy the thrill of defense with quick reflexes, digs and dives.

Avery Bonner - #8

2028 DS/LIB

I am extremely driven to be the best I can be in all aspects of my game. Whether its on the court or off of it, I cheer on my teammates as if they were my best friends. I am a diligent athlete who fights to be the best player I can be, while maintaining a collected morale on the court. I am always looking for a chance to better the ball, even if it means I have to sacrifice my body now and then. I would be a remarkable addition to any team because of my determined outlook and my willingness to lead.

Gabby Bristow - #6

2027 OH

My name is Gabriella Bristow but everyone calls me Gabby.  I am a sophomore at Ben Lippen High School, class of 2027. Over the last three years I have been selected to play on the 13u National and 14U National Elite club teams. I have played JV volleyball for my school since 6th grade and moved up to varsity my sophomore year. Volleyball holds a special place in my heart. Over the past seven years, I have grown to love every aspect of the sport - the teamwork, the strategy, and the thrill of every play. The dedication and hard work I have put into my game have only fueled my desire to take my skills to the next level.

My ultimate goal is to play college volleyball and continue pursuing my passion on a competitive stage. I am driven, disciplined, and constantly striving to grow and improve. I am excited to embrace the challenges ahead, knowing that each day brings me closer to making my dreams a reality.

Gabby Esposito - #14

My name is Jocelyn Kline, and I attend school at Gray Collegiate Academy in Columbia, South Carolina. Not only do I take volleyball seriously, but school is just as important to me. This year I am extremely excited to take competition to the next level on the 16 Elite team at LMVC.

I have always been inspired by LMVC coach's confidence and competitive nature, and I am proud of myself for being able to call myself a player at this club. I have played club volleyball for 4 years and this upcoming season will be my 5th. I started volleyball when I was in 5th grade, and I fell in love instantly. I have played volleyball for my designated school ever since 7th grade when I became eligible.

This will be my first year as a MH and I am beyond excited to compete in a new position. I will never be the tallest on the court, but I will constantly push myself to reach just as high: if not higher than the girls who were blessed with more height than me.

Volleyball is very important in my life, but I also am always on top of keeping my grades as A's and A+'s. Outside of volleyball I enjoy spending time at the barn with my horse and my parents. My parents are a big part of my volleyball career and my dad will always be there to win loudest in the gym. My parents are my biggest supporters and never let me down; they always push me to become the best version of me possible.

Currently, I am a sophomore at Blythewood High School. I will be graduating in 2027. This will be my 3rd year playing club volleyball and I am so excited to see what this season has in store!

My 8th grade year was when I started playing volleyball for the first time in middle school. As I fell more in love with it I decided to grow more and develop my skills by playing club. I trained hard and stayed disciplined the entire following summer of 2023 to work toward achieving my goal of making Varsity at my high school as a freshman only playing for one year. In my second year playing club I was the captain of my team and played all around as an outside hitter finishing with a season total of 538 kills, 364 digs, 104 aces, and 22 blocks. I was nominated for All-Region by my coaches and had such a wonderful time meeting new players and learning different coaches' coaching styles and perspectives.

While volleyball is a HUGE part of my life, as my parents remind me academics always come first. I have a 4.0+ GPA and I am in Beta Club. On top of keeping up with my academics, I am also involved in Student Council (Sophomore Class Secretary), DECA(Distributive Education Clubs of America), as well as Orchestra (Violinist). I started volleyball in seventh grade to try it out but ended up falling in love with it. For the 2024-2025 club season I am playing on the Lake Murray 15 Elite team as a libero/DS. This will be my third year playing for Lake Murray.

In the seventh grade I played for Chapin Middle School and started as a DS.  In eighth grade I was moved to all around Outside and served as a co-captain. That same year I was selected to be the libero for my club and was a co-captain for the Lake Murray 14 Elite team.  I was named All Region and my team ended up winning our age division. I was also selected that season for the Palmetto Region High Performance Camp.

Alyssa Hendrix - #15

2028 OH

My name is Lindsay Hodges and I have been playing volleyball for 5 years, 4 of which have been through Lake Murray Volleyball Club, where I found my volleyball family. My primary position has always been setter, but I am working hard to improve my skill and ability as an opposite hitter and a well-rounded player. I am fortunate to have played up each year I have participated in club. I strive to be a versatile player that elevates my team with positive energy and a competitive spirit. I am committed to being the best I can be individually, but I am also a team player.

Two years ago I was honored to serve as co-captain of my 14U club team, where I led the season in assists and aces. I ranked third in blocking, surpassed only by my middle blockers. My 14 Elite team won Palmetto Regional Champions in 2023, and I was named 1st team all-region player. I attended FSU Elite Individual Volleyball Camp last summer as a 13 year-old and received the Stand-out Setter Award (ages 9-17 yrs). That same year I played my eighth grade season as the starting Chapin High School varsity setter, when the senior setter was injured mid-season, contributing to a playoff bid and earning my varsity letter. Last year, I served as captain of my 15U team at Lake Murray. Once again, I attended FSU Elite Individual Camp where I earned the Best All-Around Player Award. I recently ended my ninth grade season as the starting varsity all-around setter, where I led the team in assists and earned my second-year varsity bar. I was awarded All-Region Player and nominated for All-State.

I enjoy spending free time with my family, friends, and my cat Ziggy. I also value my academics and am a straight-A student, in all honors or advanced placement classes. I hope to continue my education and volleyball career at a D1 school. I am happiest when I’m playing volleyball and I love the lessons, people, and experiences that come with it!

Kinsey Murphy - #12

2028 Setter

I began my volleyball journey in the backyard with my mom around age 10!  I played my first rec season at my local YMCA shortly after and loved it. I made my middle school team in the 7th grade and tried out for club that same year. I made the 13u National team at club Intense in Lexington, SC and played one season there. This helped sharpen my skills and pave the way for me to take a starting OH spot on my high school JV team as a middle schooler. I realized how my work outside of practices in private lessons, personal training sessions, and in the yard was paying off. For my 14u year, I tried out for Lake Murray Volleyball Club in Irmo, SC and made the 14u Elite team as a middle hitter. As the season progressed my defense skills were recognized and I began to play as a 6 rotation MH. My time at LMVC and the individual work I put in, secured my spot on my high school Varsity team as a freshman in 2024.   I finished out my freshman Varsity season receiving the All- Region III-AA award as the team’s Libero. I earned “The Hustle Award” for the season and received accolades for my stats for digs and aces, as well. I’m looking forward to next club season where I will be playing as a middle again at LMVC on 15u Elite. My ultimate goal is to play competitive college volleyball while earning my college degree. I am undecided on a major at this time but I know education is crucial to my future success. Playing volleyball in college is a once in a lifetime opportunity and is an obvious choice for me because of my love of the game. I know it takes hard work, dedication, and passion to be successful at the next level and I’m ready to take the next steps.

I am a very versatile volleyball player. Playing OH, MH, and L has enhanced my volleyball IQ tremendously.  I am dedicated, hard-working, and coachable. I enjoy being a part of a team and building up my teammates.  I see mistakes as an opportunity to grow and will not let them get me down. I am motivated and I play with integrity. I have been developing my leadership skills over the years and I want to be an example to others.  I demonstrate maximum effort in practice and work extensively outside of practice to further develop my skills to become better at the sport I truly love.  I love lifting weights and doing agility training with my personal trainer weekly. Private lessons have been an opportunity to learn and practice the finer details of the skills that make up good defense and offense. I enjoy knowing why something works well and then feeling it in practice.

I’ve come to learn that playing volleyball is more than a sport. Playing volleyball has taught me accountability, discipline, teamwork, resilience, and determination. I am not scared of hard work and I have found a successful balance between family, sports, and academics.

Hi, my name is London Rambert I’m currently a 5’10 middle hitter as a 15 year old freshman at Ben Lippen School. This is my second year playing club, but my overall third year playing volleyball.

I started playing volleyball my 7th grade year after joining because of my friend. I grew to enjoy it greatly, so my 8th grade year I practice with public high-school over the summer, planning to play with their JV. This helped me improve my speed, strength, and agility greatly. I ended up having to transfer to Ben Lippen and played on the JV team there though. I played as a right side hitter my 8th grade year, which allowed me to improve my arm swing and timing greatly. I was invited to join the 14U team at Lake Murray Volleyball Club as a middle hitter and my club journey began. At the end of that season, I got selected for all region and my team won silver. I knew though that despite everything I was already doing it wasn’t enough. I had to focus when I was on the court, take private lessons whenever I can, and put in the time off the court. Working on my arm swing, footwork, and ball control is my biggest at home goal because I can always improve in those areas. I now play at a varsity level in school and on a 17’s club team. I’m so excited for this club season to start and can’t wait to learn new skills and see what it’s like playing against older teams. My goal is to play competitive college volleyball. I know playing at any college level takes dedication, a great work ethic, passion, sacrifice, a good attitude and skill. I’m ready to push through, doing whatever I need to so that I can achieve my goals. I’d also like to get a degree in something interesting though. I’m still undecided what I would like to major in specifically, but education is a big thing for me. I really enjoy different types of biology, especially marine, but then I greatly enjoy stuff like forensics and crime, so we will see in the future what I choose to major in.

I’ve only ever played MH and RH, but I pick up on how to do different things pretty quickly and will put in the effort to perfect that skill to the best of my ability. I try my best to have a positive attitude and good energy for my team and am a coachable player. I try my best to apply what I’m told in the moment, but don’t always succeed, but I usually get it. Making a mistake just means something new to work on and spending more time doing what I love. I workout weekly and run track so I can stay in shape out of season. No matter what I’m doing I try to put maximum effort into everything, sometimes I slack and I pay for it in a game or maybe in practice. I strive to the best I can though, so it keeps me motivated. I have yet to find that perfect balance between school, home, and volleyball, but when I step foot in that gym and my adrenaline gets going, all it is volleyball from there. It has taught me so many things like good teamwork, leadership skills, communication, accountability, and how to just be wrong sometimes. I fell in love with this sport because of a certain coach, so at some point in the future I would like to coach also, but for now I just want to enjoy my childhood and play to win and have fun. I’m ready for any challenge that faces me.
